Celebrate the Season at Azteca Kennewick — Your Home for Festive Catering and Holiday Parties!

By Mike Gonzalez

When you walk through the doors of Azteca Restaurant at 6505 W Kennewick Avenue, you immediately feel it — the warmth, the color, the unmistakable aroma of authentic Mexican food that has made Azteca a local favorite for nearly 30 years.

At the heart of it all is Enrique Ramirez, the longtime owner whose friendly smile and dedication to great service have kept families, businesses, and partygoers coming back year after year. As the holiday season kicks into high gear, Enrique and his team are ready to make your celebrations unforgettable.

A Perfect Place for Holiday Parties

Looking for the perfect spot for your office holiday party or family celebration? Azteca has you covered.

“We have a special room that can accommodate up to 100 people,” Enrique says proudly. “It’s great for weddings, company parties, birthdays — you name it. There’s plenty of seating and space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.”

And if you’d rather celebrate somewhere else, Azteca can bring the fiesta to you. “We do full-service catering,” Enrique adds. “We bring everything — chafing dishes, servers, buffet setup — and we work with any kind of budget. You tell us what you want, and we make it happen.”

Many people have asked if the Azteca next to Fred Meyer is still open. Ramirez said it was a business decision to close to restaurant, despite its popularity. "It wasn't an easy decision to close that restaurant, however we feel blessed because our loyal customers have followed us over here," said Ramirez.

A Menu That Defines Tri-Cities Mexican Cuisine

Enrique doesn’t hesitate when asked about the dishes locals love most.

“Our Carne Asada — that’s the favorite, for sure,” he says with a grin. “But our Fajitas, Arroz con Pollo, and Chicken Taquitos are also big hits.”

The menu is as diverse as it is delicious, offering something for everyone — from sizzling fajitas to burgers and mac & cheese for the kids. “We can accommodate anything,” Enrique says. “It’s about making sure everyone leaves happy.”

Three Decades of Consistency and Heart

Consistency is a big part of Azteca’s success story. Enrique’s kitchen team has been with him since the beginning — nearly 30 years of dedication.

“I’ve been lucky,” he says. “My guys have stayed with me, and they’re like family. They’re responsible, coordinated, and they care about the food. That’s why it tastes the way it does.”

Join the Celebration

Azteca is open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Whether you’re stopping by for a plate of sizzling fajitas or planning a holiday party for the whole crew, Enrique and his team are ready to make it special.

It’s the flavor this area’s been missing.” From Mesa Roots to Ribeye Dreams Just north of Pasco lies Mesa, Washington — a small agricultural town where Jesus Alvarez learned the value of hard...
