Jacobs Radio Business Report Shines a Spotlight on Tri-Cities Businesses

The Jacobs Radio Business Report is a brand-new initiative dedicated to highlighting the stories, successes, and services of businesses across the Tri-Cities. Led by Jacobs Radio owner Jeff Jacobs, the report is designed to give entrepreneurs and organizations a platform to reach new audiences and strengthen their connection to the community. “Our stations are more than just voices on the air—they’re a part of the fabric of this community,” said Jacobs. “I want the Business Report to celebrate the businesses that make this area vibrant and provide them with a chance to tell their stories in their own words.”

To bring this vision to life, Jacobs has tapped veteran broadcaster and media professional Mike Gonzalez to lead the spotlight features. Gonzalez brings more than two decades of experience as a news manager, anchor, and reporter in Spokane, the Tri-Cities, Raleigh, North Carolina, and Phoenix. He is also the founder of the Hispanic Food Network and the host of the NW Food, Brew and Wine television show, giving him a unique blend of journalism, storytelling, and marketing expertise.

For Gonzalez, the Business Report is about more than just promotion—it’s about empowerment. “I’m excited to help folks market their business in a way that really connects with people,” he said. “Every business has a story worth telling, and when you shine a light on that story, it builds trust, loyalty, and growth. That’s what we want to deliver with the Business Report—real value for local business owners and a deeper connection for the community.”

It’s the flavor this area’s been missing.” From Mesa Roots to Ribeye Dreams Just north of Pasco lies Mesa, Washington — a small agricultural town where Jesus Alvarez learned the value of hard...
